'SOLID ROCK EAGLE SQUADRON' An Air Force Style Cadet Program at Solid Rock Christian School *Enrollment
in Solid Rock Eagle Squadron DOES NOT OBLIGATE Solid Rock Christian School and Eagle Aerospace Military Academy have joined forces to offer an exciting new elective program to our 5th - 12th grade students - the Solid Rock Eagle Squadron Cadet Program! The Solid Rock Eagle Squadron Program promotes character building through citizenship, leadership, physical fitness, aerospace education and a drug fee lifestyle. The foundation of the Solid Rock Eagle Squadron is the Civil Air Patrol Cadet Program. The Civil Air Patrol began its Cadet Program in 1942 making it the oldest Air Force Cadet Program in existence. The Air Force used their experiences with the Civil Air Patrol Cadet Program to develop both the United States Air Force Academy Cadet Program (1954) and the Air Force Junior ROTC Program (1966.) |
